Welcome! This site is for forthcoming performances of the No Excuses Women's Choir. Please explore the site for more information or join up. No Excuses! is a choral suite for women's voices. It was inspired by true stories from women survivors of family/domestic violence, composed by Dr Christina Green and Dr Kathleen McGuire in 2015-2016. Part of the work was commissioned in 2015 by the Big West Festival through a Creative Victoria grant. The entire work was premiered at the Melbourne Recital Centre in June 2016, introduced by Rosie Batty. The work has been featured in the Australian Women's Weekly (Dec 2016), on ABC (TV and Radio), SBS (TV and Radio), and on Iraq TV.
